Day 53: Kathmandu

We started to explore the city early in the day. My friend and I were unsure what to do in Nepal. We originally wanted to jike to the base camp of Mount Everest, but we have learned that it takes over two weeks and we don't have that much time. However, we wanted to do as much as possible, so we figured motorcycles would be the best option. We went to a motorcycle place and got two reserved for tomorrow for nine days. Right now, we have a rough guide of where we want to go, but I am sure that will change once we hit the road.

We spent the rest of the day renting gear and buying supplies for the trip. We spent the rest of our time planning the trip and researching the towns. Another day of very little entertaining things to talk about. The sign in the airport said "this is Nepal, things take time so relax." That summed up our day. It almost tooks half the day just to get motorcycles.

Tomorrow we leave early to hit the road; I have said this before, but this time I am actually not sure when I will have wifi. We have sleeping bags and what not and plan to trek and sleep under the stars. Not sure exactly what we are going to do or if we will have wifi for the next two weeks.

Only time will tell and anything is possible.
